TELUS is one of Canada's leading telecommunications companies — providing high-speed internet, home phone, and television services to residential customers across Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec.
The TELUS Connect app (formerly My Wi-Fi) is their primary home network management product available on iOS and Android. It lets customers manage their entire home Wi-Fi experience from their phone — pausing devices, monitoring data usage, setting up Boost Wi-Fi hardware, managing parental controls, and troubleshooting — without calling support.
Working on this product meant operating at genuine enterprise scale — strict brand governance, multiple modem and hardware configurations, bilingual English and French requirements, and a live app used by millions of Canadian households.

I joined the TELUS Connect team as an embedded UX/UI designer working directly within the Canada product design team. Three areas of ownership:
Feature design — contributed to key screens across the app including network overview, device management, Wi-Fi booster setup, support flows, and network security.
Design system — helped build and maintain the Figma component library. Led contribution to the Sketch to Figma migration — rebuilding components with proper auto-layout, consistent naming, and usage documentation.
Stakeholder collaboration — regular design reviews with the TELUS product manager and internal stakeholders. Worked within strict TELUS brand agency guidelines throughout the engagement.
